Clean-Up Kits For Public Transport
New clean-up kits are now available for taxis and other point to point transport service providers to help keep drivers and passengers safe during COVID-19. Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, Paul Toole, said the new kits would be available for collection from all of the eight vehicle sanitisation stations. While public transport drivers around Dubbo can collect their kits from their provided vehicle sanitisation stations, in other areas such as Mudgee, drivers can order them online. A spokesperson from the Minister’s office, confirms that “service providers will be able to order from the Point to Point Transport Commissioner Industry Portal.” The new kits contain gloves, saline eye wash, antiseptic swabs, soap, and first-aid hand towels stored in a resealable plastic bag to make it easy for drivers to use.
