AFP Ask Parents Not To Post School Photos
As students return to school for the year, the Australian Federal Police are urging parents to refrain from posting ‘back-to-school’ photos on their social media. Images tagged with content that informs location, social ties or their uniform as a depiction of their school, could be used by offenders to possibly groom students. The warning comes as the AFP continues to regularly seize images across the country, of children in the collections of online child sex offenders. Police ask people to lockdown their privacy setting if they chose to post photos.
