Year 12 formals to go ahead

The State’s Premier has announced that Year 12 students across NSW will be able to celebrate finishing school with COVID-19 safe graduation ceremonies and formals being allowed to take place during Term 4.

Gladys Berejiklian says Year 12 students have shown incredible resilience during the pandemic and deserved to celebrate an important life milestone. 

Following suit, Mudgee High School have confirmed year 12 end-of-year celebrations will be coordinated in November, post HSC exams.

Local students will be able to attend their own farewell assembly on the 12^th of November, with a formal send off at the AREC the following day.

A spokesperson from the high school confirms that the AREC pavillion, not too far out of Mudgee, is a perfect venue that allows maximum social distancing.
