A Push In Local Elections

 It’s not just local MPs pushing more locals to run for the Resident Government elections, in the regions, but now State politicians are offering encouragement.

With local government elections coming up at the end of this year state-wide, the call out is saturated in the need for fresh faces.

Deputy Premier, John Barilaro spoke 2MG’s Ken Suttcliffe on the weekend, about his rise to politics.

Mr Barilaro also says many people who “throw their hands up for local government love their region, who are born and bred, and understand the issues and in many cases can offer solutions”.
