ANZAC Services Still Up In The Air
Updated Info from our Local RSL Sub- Branch.
"The Mudgee RSL Sub-Branch is hopeful that the State Government will lift all restrictions as ANZAC Day approaches which would allow normal commemorations to be conducted.
Under the restrictions and guidelines at the moment, the hosting of large public events like the ANZAC Day dawn service, ANZAC Day march and main service, would be impossible for any small Sub-Branch like Mudgee"

Earlier Story:
With some States already announcing that ANZAC day services will go ahead in 2021, the final decision for NSW and our local services are still a few weeks away.
The Mudgee RSL sub-branch have confirmed to 2MG news that they are hopeful that NSW State government restrictions will be relaxed in coming weeks around ANZAC services, which would then make the hosting of the commemorations possible.
Under the restrictions that are currently in place, the hosting of the large public gathering would be impossible, so it is hoped that these changes could be announced in the coming weeks.
Our newsroom will be kept up to date with further information yet to come.
