Covid vaccinations to start

 

Mudgee Covid Vaccination for Phase 1B will commence from Monday March 29, the appointments now available.


The doctors from South Mudgee Surgery and Mudgee Medical Centre are collaborating with Mid Western Regional Council to provide this service for the local government area, which includes Mudgee, Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos.

When? - Monday to Friday: except public holidays

Time: 1pm to 5pm



Where?

Location: Pavilion at the Mudgee Showground

Address: Douro Street entrance

Vaccinations will be provided by a Registered nurse, everyone has completed the National Covid Training. A doctor will be onsite.

You will be required to stay for 15minutes after the vaccine, longer if requested e.g. history of allergies

 

 

Side effects

(Usually in the first 1-2days)

Redness at the site

Pain in the arm

Tiredness

Headaches, general muscle aches

Some people fever, chills, joint pain or nausea

 

2nd dose: 12 weeks later.
