More Improvements For Mudgee Showground

The Mudgee Showground keeps changing in leaps and bounds, this time with additional infrastructure set to be installed.


Rodeo chutes and additional portable cattle yards will be making headway soon, with the announcement earlier in the week that Mudgee Show Society had successfully applied for $47,360, through the State Government Crown Reserve Improvement Fund. 

The installment will mean the show society will be able to expand what is offered at the grounds, and ultimately the town.


Mudgee Show Society secretary, Allison Beer, says the new equipment will allow for further events to be held, with “plans to host another rodeo later in the year”, this time not having to rely on hiring equipment from Branxton.


The 2021 Mudgee Show will be held this weekend, but strictly agriculture competitions only.
