This weekends local sport

 

Six Mudgee Athletes, Jorga Bennetts, Mollie Blackman, Cody Flynn, Brooke Rayner, Ewan Skinner & Riley Taylor will compete in the NSW Youth championships across 6 Track & 4 field events at Homebush this weekend.

Mudgee’s Division 2 & Division 3 golf pennants teams will be striving to emulate their Division 1 counterparts by winning their respective finals of the Central West District championships on Sunday.

Division 2 will go into the final undefeated against Wellington, Division 3 taking on Duntryleague, both teams topping the table in their section matches.

It’s the final round in the Mudgee Senior cricket competition tomorrow, Paragon against Federal Hotel Cricket at Walkers and Ori Bulls playing Kelly’s Irish Pub at Vic Park.

The Junior cricket U-13s play semi-finals tomorrow, Roth’s Cherries V Burmac Insurance and Byron Place Butchery taking on EvansLea, both games at Walkers.

There is one game in the final round of the U-15s competition, Pete Sibs Photography against Mudgee Home Decor on the Glen Willow Synthetic.

The final round of the Triathlon Interclub series will be held at Dubbo on Sunday.

Softball continues tomorrow at West End starting at 9am.

Racing is at Orange on Sunday, Brett Thompson with runners in races 3, 4 & 5, Bob Howe R6.

At the Dubbo Greyhounds tomorrow night, Len Haaring will have starters in Races 1,5 & 6, Arthur Barrass Race 4.
