More childcare possible
The pressure of finding a childcare place in the region is set to the eased, with plans for a new childcare centre recently lodged with Mid-Western Regional Council.
The Application which is now on council’s website shows that the facility would cater for up to 150 children, and plans to operate 5 days per week.
The Proposed facility would be situated in Carleon estate, between Knox crescent and Hill End Road.
The application states that 150 children would be catered for in 7 activity rooms, along with outdoor areas, a proposed staff of 21 would also care for children from newborn upwards.
